PORTLAND (AP) ― He wanted to dance -- and it was an emergency!

Last Friday night, 43-year-old Edgar Dieguez-Lopez did what anyone would do in an emergency, call 911.

He was having a crisis. The Caribe nightclub on Southwest Canyon Road in Portland was not letting him in. The dispatcher spent several minutes with him, even bringing in a Spanish translator: He called 911 because he said, "I cannot get inside."

Police responded to his call and arrested the man for improper use of 911 and possession of drugs.
