Tow Truck Driver Finds Gator On The Road
MIAMI (CBS) ―
A tow truck driver is used to running across many things, but one local tow truck driver came across something he wasn't quite expecting Friday morning, when he stumbled upon an alligator in the middle of the road near the intersection of SW 104th Street and 122nd Avenue.
"I see something, it looked like a piece of tree. I slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and I saw it, 6 feet, it's a gator! I didn't know whether to get out or stay in," driver Jose Herrera told CBS station WFOR-TV.
Needless to say, this was one job the tow truck driver couldn't manage. Police blocked off traffic in the area while the gator was captured and taken to safety.
