This wasn't part of the script.
A surprise during this afternoon's taping of "The Tonight Show" when a woman from the audience walked up to actor Colin Farrell as he was talking to host Jay Leno.
The 30-year-old actor quickly escorted her off stage and asked for security.
Molly Mattaini, who was in the audience said the woman "said something to Colin Farrell that no one heard, then he took her by the elbow, led her off the stage, asked the cameraman to turn off their cameras and asked for security."
A "Tonight Show" spokeswoman said the incident won't be broadcast, adding it occurred shortly before a scheduled commercial break and delayed taping of the show.
Burbank police say the woman was detained but was not arrested at the request of NBC.
