Tracy Schools Could Be Named For Donors

TRACY (CBS13) ― Schools are typically named after pioneers and American heroes, but for the right price, your name could be up on the side of a local school.

The Tracy Unified School District says they'll seriously consider naming a school building after someone who donates money to the school.

But there's a catch. Even if you make the donation, the school board still has to approve your name.

They also say that if your name goes on the school, you won't have much say in what goes on in inside
