The Scoop: Strange Christmas Decorations

The Scoop's quest to show you the cheapest or most bizarre Christmas decorations comes today from Midtown Sacramento, home of coffee shops, art galleries and hipsters -- and with very little taste in holiday decorations.
A couple of weeks ago, I showed you Florin Road, where the decorations look like giant Flintstone bones. Florin's had some rough times, and the decorations proved it. But Midtown's a big success.
You would think the bohemians of Midtown would come up with something a little more imaginative than cheap looking ornaments. But times are tough everywhere, and holiday imaginations aren't what they used to be. If you know of any tacky public Christmas decorations, e-mail me at
