High School Student Diagnosed With Swine Flu
FOLSOM, Calif. (CBS13) ―
A local student missed the first day of high school after she was diagnosed with swine flu, according to school officials.
The ninth-grade student at Vista del Lago High School in Folsom had not had a chance to attend any school classes or activity before she was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu, according to officials.
No other students are believed to be exposed to the disease.
Folsom Cordova Unified School District officials say students and parents will be notified by phone with more information and details on how to prevent transmission of the swine flu.
