NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

At Restless Style, Nick and Phyllis advise Jack against going to the gala, knowing Victor and Sabrina will be there.  Jack refuses to stay away.  Chloe promises Amber that she will stick by her all night if she goes to the gala.  Amber agrees. Sharon agrees with Jack that he is a genius for finding a way to sell out the new issue of Restless Style. Michael and Lauren realize that Jack changed the article of Sabrina without Nick's approval.  Jack admits to Sabrina that he was the only one involved in altering the article about her.  Nearby, Amber and Daniel can't take their eyes off one another.  Kay joins a lonely Amber and wonders if there is a chance that she and Daniel will reconcile. At the coffeehouse, Paul is working on making a connection between David and Walter when Heather stops by and drops off a box of Ji Min's belongings.  Later, Paul finds a photo in the box that Heather left of Walter next to Ji Min.  David's first attempt to drug Nikki fails. Heather does a double take when she sees Walter, who is talking to a limo driver nearby.  David calls to make sure that Nikki's insurance policy is active and then tries to get Nikki to leave with him. Meanwhile, Cane greets Kay and Jill and reveals to them that he plans to propose to Lily tonight. Amber and Chloe arrive at the party at the same time Daniel and Kevin do. Cane is about to purpose to Lily when Chloe appears and blurts out that she is pregnant and Cane is the father. Adam gets a call from an old friend who still doesn't know where Skye is.  Brad and Jill confront David about his gambling problem and ask him to resign. Victor demands that Nick and Victoria be at the ranch tomorrow.  Just as Jeff convinces Gloria to go to the gala they see a story about David's gambling problem on the news.  Gloria realizes that this controversy will cause Jabot stock to drop in price and she will be able to buy it inexpensively.  Just as they are leaving, a story comes on about Skye being missing. While Adam is getting him and Heather champagne, Walter comes out of the shadows and startles Heather.  Meanwhile, Paul receives an e-mail of the full picture of Walter and Ji Min and sees David in the background.  David pours the liquid morphine into a glass of ginger ale and tries to give it to Nikki.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Ridge learns from his attorney that Donna has the legal right to stop him from owning Forrester Creations.  Felicia's vendetta against Donna grows after a series of events. Owen backs out of their deal and Ridge explains her about Donna's fight to maintain control of the company.  After being asked by Ridge, Brooke is successful at getting Donna to change her mind about allowing Brooke and Ridge to take over. Owen's guilty conscience prompts him to inform Donna of the deal he made with Felicia to break up Donna and Eric's marriage.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

Katie and Brad walk in on Liberty and Parker making out on the couch. Parker runs off but Katie tells Brad he should have a talk with Liberty. Brad tries to tell her about the "birds and the bees" but Liberty says she knows as about it and leaves. Katie tells Brad he doesn't need to tell her how to do it but what to do about it so they decide to go to the doctor for some pamphlets. Meanwhile, Liberty goes to the doctor with Janet to get birth control, barely missing Brad and Katie. Later, Brad and Katie see Liberty at the diner and accidentally knock her bag of birth control off the table, revealing the contents. Brad is livid but Liberty insists it was Janet who took her to the doctor and runs off. Brad castigates Janet for encouraging Liberty to have sex but Janet insists he's not being realistic and she's just being careful. Janet goes to Jack to complain about Brad but Jack agrees with Brad and says Parker is too young and too fragile to get physically involved. At the same time, Liberty has come to see Parker who is upset over Carly and Holden's affair.  They commiserate over what a mess grown-ups make of things and up making love for the first time.

Holden and Carly meet by the pond to try to resolve their dilemma. Carly insists Holden must tell Lily their affair meant nothing, but Holden says that's not true. Carly admits he's right but says it doesn't do them any good to dwell on it. Luke comes to the pond for a swim and sees them together. He gets angry with his father and when Carly intervenes, saying they're just trying to fix things. Luke suggests they start by never seeing each other again. After Luke goes, Carly says he's right. Holden doesn't know how he can lie to Lily but Carly says go through the motions of being a loving husband whether Lily wants it or not, and after a while, it will feel right. They part, both aching.

Luke is upset about Holden and Carly's affair and tells Noah it makes him think no relationship can last. Noah disputes that, but Luke says he doesn't even know where they stand since they live together but aren't physical. Noah admits he's not ready to go to the next step but he loves Luke and will always be there for him and Luke is touched.

GUIDING LIGHT

Bill and Ava worry about their premature baby as it is rushed out of the room. Bill assures Ava that he will find out what is going on with Max. He prepares Ava to see Max but she is still hesitant to meet the baby. Ava and Bill see Max for the first time and Ava thinks fast as she knows she is going to have a lot of explaining to do. Bill tells Ava that no matter what he still wants to raise Max as his son and he still wants them to be a family. Bill holds Max's hand through the incubator glove. Bill tells Vanessa everything after she overheard him on the phone with the clinic and later sees Remy with flowers hugging Ava.

Gossip throughout the hospital swirls as the nurses find pictures of Bill and Lizzie on the internet. Dinah scolds the nurses for looking at the pictures. Dina plans on canceling Bill's meeting but finds that Alex has already taken it over. Dinah takes on her challenge to run the meeting and ends up landing the deal.

Remy regrets leaving Ava as Lizzie vows to get over Bill forever.  Remy returns to the hospital to check on Ava and Dinah gives him a hard time. Remy brings Ava flowers and goes to see the baby. He returns to the room where Bill and Ava are to confront them.

Lizzie goes to see the Governor with information on Bill. Lizzie covers their "sex scandal" by telling the Governor that it was all just a misunderstanding and taking the blame herself. Lizzie sees Bill and Ava share a close moment and turns away. Lizzie runs into Alex and they discuss her chance for a fresh start in LA.
