July 22 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Jeff returns from Korea but admits to Gloria that he couldn't find Kyon or the face cream.  Jeff sets up an offshore account in order for him and Gloria to buy Jabot stock. While Gloria is in the bathroom, Jeff checks his briefcase and checks on the face cream.  Meanwhile, Gloria makes a mysterious call regarding Jeff. Meanwhile, Adam notices Nikki and David's conversation.  David admits to Nikki that Angelo Serafini is his real name.  David reveals to Nikki everything about his past. However, Nikki doesn't know if she can believe a word of it and realizes that the only reason David is confessing is because he got caught.

Later, Heather becomes suspicious of David after a conversation with Brad. Adam asks Heather to go to gala with him. Heather is looking through a few of Ji Min's effects and sees a picture of him with Walter.  At the coffeehouse, Paul and J.T. meet with a detective for information on Walter and are informed that Walter is extremely dangerous. Later, David calls an old friend and asks him to score David some dreamer.

Meanwhile, Brad and Jill discuss their plan to take over Chancellor and Jabot. Nick drops off the keys to the tack house and runs into Victor.  The two have another confrontation about the article on Sabrina.  Sabrina fears that one day Victor will turn his back on their child, like he is doing with Nick.  Sabrina pushes Victor to forgive Nick. Finally, Victor goes to the tack house and tells Nick that he doesn't have to move.  Nick slams the door in his face.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Stephanie pays a visit to an unconscious Eric and is distraught by his condition.  She fears losing the love of her life forever.  Marcus arrives at the hospital and meets Stephanie for the first time. Ridge becomes defensive when he sees Donna packing up some of Eric's belongings from his office.  Ridge tries to be sensitive towards Donna about him and Brooke taking ownership of Forrester Creations. However, Donna refuses to let him do this to Eric while he is incapacitated.  Ridge pronounces himself owner of the company and signs transfer of ownership papers despite Donna's protest.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

Paul waits with Barbara for Meg to return with Barbara's medication. When she doesn't come back, Paul goes to look and finds her shot and bleeding in the supply closet. Meg is rushed to surgery and Paul calls Holden to come give blood. Emma comes to the hospital as well and is shocked when Susan tells Paul his wife is going to be ok. Emma is furious that Holden didn't tell her about the marriage and blames Paul for all the bad things in Meg's life. But when Meg comes to, Emma covers and for Meg's sake, says she will accept Paul. Paul worries that maybe Emma is right and he's bad for Meg, but she insists they belong together.

While Lily tells Lucinda she tried to kill Carly because she was having an affair with Holden, angry Parker tells Carly he knows about her and Holden. Carly promises to try and make it right. She goes to Lily and tries to get Lily to at least forgive Holden, even if she never talks to Carly again, but Lily rebuffs her. Meanwhile, Holden takes Emma home where Lucinda barges in and tells Emma that Holden slept with Carly before Holden has a chance to tell her himself. Emma thinks it's a joke but Holden has to admit its true. Emma tells Holden to find a way to fix it and Holden makes arrangements to meet Carly. Later, Lucinda tells Lily that she made sure Holden won't bother her again and though Lily pretends to be grateful, she wipes away a tear.

Parker and Liberty commiserate about the grown ups in their lives and find solace with each other.

GUIDING LIGHT

Billy warns Bill about getting into politics and to have no regrets with his family. Bill gets his endorsement and he is reminded once again how important family is. Ava and Lizzie exchange harsh words as Ava confronts her for telling Bill about the baby. Lizzie asks Bill to give her a job at the company...in a different city. Lizzie wants a clean break from Bill and he admits that she's the best thing in his life. Lizzie tells Billy her plans to leave town and packs for LA.

Reva and Josh arrive on the wedding set and Reva tells the actors that they have to feel what they are saying in order to make it as real as it was on the day of her wedding. Cassie is upset and walks away but Josh is too entrapped in what Reva is saying to notice. Josh and Reva are overwhelmed and begin to reminisce. Reva and Josh share a kiss and Reva tells him that she'll always love him but it's time to let go of the past.

Jeffrey and Cassie talk about how maybe you can only have one great love. They dance during the ceremony and see Reva and Josh kiss.

Cassie tells Josh that letting him go might be the best choice they can make and they say goodbye to their life together. They share a bittersweet moment as Josh begins to move out but Cassie runs after him.

Reva tells a confused Jeffrey that she chose him over Josh. Jeffrey gives Reva a prop ring and tells her that he wants to get married-for real. Reva tells Jeffrey she'll never let him go, then catches Jolene's bouquet.
