July 14 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

While Nick, Phyllis, and Victoria are looking at proofs from her photo shoot, they discuss the fight she had with Sabrina.  Victoria admits that she doesn't know Sabrina anymore.  Meanwhile, Adrian shows Sabrina the final copy of the article and can't wait for everyone to know the real Sabrina Newman.  Jack makes a call to make sure that the new content of the article has been printed. Jack gives Adrian a new writing assignment and pushes to get Adrian out of town as quickly as possible.  Jill has had it when she learns that Kay went over her head again.  Brad makes a call to Skye and thanks her for her help. Brad also recommends that she should consider coming to work for Jabot, since David won't be around much longer. 

Jill admits to Brad she wants Kay out of Chancellor and asks if he wants to help in her takeover. Kevin returns from his trip to a family breakfast at the mansion, only to learn that Jeff and Gloria were remarried. Gloria and Jeff announce to everyone that they have a plan and want to secretly buy Jabot stock. Michael agrees to help Jeff and Gloria for a price.  Michael asks for face cream in exchange for his help. 

Jeff reveals to Michael, Gloria, and Kevin that someone has stolen the cream. Daniel demands to know who she slept with and she finally admits that it was Adrian.  Amber is devastated when Daniel decides to move out. Daniel learns that Phyllis set Amber's computer to filter out e-mails from him. Phyllis plays dumb and is saved by Jack and Sabrina's entrance.  Sabrina apologizes for her outburst yesterday. Kay makes Amber aware that, while Phyllis was wrong to crop the photo, Amber made her own decisions. 

Later, Amber hears Daniel defending her to Phyllis but Daniel makes it clear to Amber that nothing has changed. Later, Daniel comes face to face at the magazine with Adrian. Kay, Victoria, Sabrina and Jana meet to go over details for the gala, but the in-fight between Victoria and Sabrina stops them from getting anything productive done.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

The guests at Bridget and Nick's wedding are on pins and needles as Katie stops the ceremony to announce her feelings about the marriage.  By the end of the wedding, many of the attendees are overjoyed that Bridget and Nick are finally married, while others are disappointed by the outcome.  Ridge and Brooke make a new resolution about their relationship.  Felicia and Owen size each other up during their private meeting.  After Felicia sees how charming and persuasive Owen is, she makes him a lucrative offer to assist her in getting rid of Donna.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

Lily gets an envelope for Luke from Damian. Luke doesn't want to open it and wants nothing to do with his birth father. An impatient Lucinda reads it and announces that Damian wants to make amends with Luke by giving back his inheritance now that Luke is of age. Luke and Lily are unsure but Lucinda encourages her grandson to take the money and put it to good use. Noah suggests Luke respond to his father's reaching out before it's too late. Luke then decides to accept the money to start a foundation, something Luke and Noah can work on together.

Chris gives his letter of resignation to Bob who ultimately accepts it. Trying to make amends, Chris also has Bob reinstate Alison at the hospital. Kim fears Chris will leave and urges him to find a place in his hometown.

Holden is kicking himself over Carly's decision to go to Paris with Neal. Eventually, the jealousy takes hold and he begins to arrange a trip to New York to head Carly off before her European vacation. Meanwhile, Jack moves back into Milltown to be with the kids while Carly is away. But Janet can't help feel slighted by Jack and insinuates that maybe he would rather be going to Paris with Carly. Jack denies and he and Janet make love in the kitchen.

GUIDING LIGHT

Ava crashes on Remy's couch, as Olivia realizes she's not with Bill. Ava's surprised Remy remembers what kind of pizza she orders. Lizzie is mortified when Bill says he bought the cabin for him, Ava, and Max. Lizzie tries to rush off but he pulls her into a kiss only to be interrupted by a call from Olivia. Lizzie watches as Bill's worry over Ava grows and he rushes out. Bill finds Ava and reams Remy out in private. Lizzie calls Bill but hangs up when Ava answers. Bill tells Ava not to see Remy anymore-but she turns on him saying they both have to make compromises. Ava smiles wistfully, thinking about Remy, when Bill asks her what she wants on her pizza.

Reva and Josh argue about the movie-and end up locked in a kiss. They break the kiss, both somewhat self-loathing. Later, Reva interrupts Jeffrey as he talks about buying her a present and taking her out-by telling him that she and Josh kissed. Josh is overwhelmed with guilt, as Cassie tells Josh they'll be okay. Jeffrey tells Reva that if she figures out the kiss with Josh truly meant nothing, then they can pick their relationship back up again. Cassie flies into Josh's arms when he suggests they try to have a baby. Reva packs her things and Jeffrey watches, pained, but knowing she has to do this.
