The leaves of a squash plant grown by Mohammed Safdar, a Lodi resident who passed away while making his pilgrimage to Mecca, began displaying some unusual symbols. His son, Rahid, says the markings on the leaves are as clear as day to anyone who knows the ancient Arabic language.
