Outrage Alert: Bad Beef

We've heard from many people who want to know who to blame for the bad beef getting into our food system. Chris Burrous says it's unacceptable that this scandal was uncovered not by government inspectors... but by the Humane Society of America and an undercover camera. It's unreasonable to expect our school cafeterias and fast food restaurants to be able to mount an effective inspection program at beef processing plants. Instead it seems like instead of holding hearings on if baseball players are injecting with steroids... congress should take action... and toughen the U.S.D.A. inspection program immediately.
