The Scoop: The Governor Pt.2

COMMENTARY (CBS13) ― I have a copy of the governor's calendar from January to October of 2007. You already know how many full-days he spent in Sacramento. Tonight, how many days off did the governor get? I have the scoop.

Last night, I told you how Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger only spent seven full days in Sacramento last year between January and November. And I mentioned he took about every third day off. So what was he doing with all that time on his hands?

CBS13 received a copy of the governor's official calendar, and it shows two trends. One- our governor loves his private time. And he loves to travel. The governor had 92 private days in ten months last year, 35 of them in L.A.

The rest of the time, he was traveling – mostly within California, but also to Canada, England, France, China, New York, Washington, and Ohio. So what's the governor's calendar prove? Being governor is a great job – if you want plenty of days off, enjoy traveling and hate hanging around the office in Sacramento.
