It's time to get a hands-free for your phone – by law! But before you shut it off because you don't want to pay for a headset, I have a way out for you.
So you want to call in the car but you don't want to shell out the cash? What if I could get you a headset for free- almost!
Starting today, if you want to talk on your cell phone in your car you have to have a hands-free set for safety.

Log onto freeheadset.org, then click on your phone's brand name on the left hand side. They make recommendations of the headset for your phone, and say they've even tested models to make sure they have good reliability and sound quality.
The price? I said it before, free. All they ask is shipping costs of $3.94.
And if you want to get a little fancier, you can even buy a Bluetooth model for $27. That's $45 cheaper than retail.
Your headset will arrive in the mail in a bubble mailer, and if it's broken in shipping they'll get you another one.
So the best savings is that Bluetooth model, which saves you $45! Others will save you anywhere from $2 to $6 for the cheaper ones.
