With prom, graduation, even wedding season coming up, buying "nearly new" may be the answer to saving hundreds of dollars.
It may be the latest fashion trend, nearly new designer dresses for a fraction of the price.
Store like this one is old town Elk Grove are popping up all over the Sacramento Valley.
So how can you they sell this stuff for such a steal?
"It's a matter of buying them at a lower cost, it just takes some hunting," says Lena Castro, store owner of Bjennin
We walked inside and found a vast variety of styles and sizes for formal and semi-formal occasions.
"This one here is a city triangles, it's $30, and we have shoes that are ten dollars so you can put a whole outfit together for about $45," says Lena.
Owner Lena Castro says she does the legwork so you don't have to.
"We've had girls come in last minute for proms, moms don't want to spend $2300 a dress and come in and we help them find the perfect dress and then accessorize," explains Lena.
So before you shell out big bucks on a dress you may only wear once, consider this, stores like this one will make the most out of anyone's budget.
One of the gowns we showed you was more than $200 new, but sells nearly new for $45! That means you could save at least $155!
