We'll show you how to save on shipping costs for online shopping. Everyone shops online these days. But sometimes when you find that great deal, by the time you pay for shipping, you're paying more than you would by going to the store. There's a website where you won't pay more than $3 for shipping.
Ever pile a bunch of stuff into your online cart then ditch the whole thing when you see how much shipping will cost? You're not alone. A recent Paypal survey found more than 40 percent of people who abandoned their shopping carts did it for that very reason.
At Overstock.com, shipping is always cheap -- $2.95 for your entire order, no matter what or how much you buy.
You could furnish your whole house with a seven piece dining room set, an armoire and a sectional sofa -- as long as they're in the same order -- you'll pay just $2.95 to have all the furniture shipped to your front door.
Overstock.com's CEO says the company has such big purchasing power that it's able to pass on the savings to shoppers.
We checked out some other sites to see how much shipping costs on similar furniture. We're talking at least $150 bucks to ship just one of those items. That's huge savings when you add on the discounted prices you'll find online.
