Save With Dave: Affordable Diapers
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
"We go through those big jumbo packs probably every two weeks," says Jovi Balaoro.
Any parent will agree, diapers cost big bucks!
"Totally crazy expense, you buy them all the time," explains Pam Stone, mother of two.
And for new parents, that expense can be a bit shocking.
You have the buy the, but do you have to spend a fortune?
Big box stores like Costco and Target offer affordable prices, but you may find a limited selection. You can also order online, diapers.com has virtually every size for a price that won't break the bank.
For an example, an extra large case of Huggies is $39.99 available in every size.
Most grocery stores will cost about $10 less, for half as many diapers. To get the most out of your money, plan ahead like ordering online and buying in bulk could save you half of what you would spend at your average grocery or drug store.
Or there's one more option, use Pam Stone's strategy.
"We potty trained him early so he could get out of diapers," she says.
