Save WIth Dave: Halloween Costume Deals

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― We all know kids will wear the costume once, then never again. Do we found some great outfits that cost a fraction of what you'd pay at retail stores.

"It is right now in target. I think its about $24-29 dollars and here its," said Angela Rodriguez, Once Upon A Child

You can save huge on Halloween by buying costumes secondhand at places like Once Upon A Child.

"Parents love it. Parents love coming in here and being able to buy costumes for $6, versus $20, $25 dollars," said Angela.

The costumes we found were in great shape and extremely clean -- some were never even worn.

"And actually this one does have the price and it says $24.99 and it is $6.50 here," said Angela. "So you can't beat that."

And get this: Buy a costume on the cheap, keep it in good shape and you can even get some money back after your trick-or-treater is done with it.

"We take costumes all year round. So right after Halloween, if you want to bring them to us, we'll buy them from you," said Angela.

Angela says the costumes are going fast, but people are still bringing in more costumes to sell everyday.

Parents can save about $15 per costume. And for families with multiple kids, that really adds up.
