Save With Dave: Save $260 A Year On Drinks

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Looking for a food and drink special just got easier. We found a resource to help you find a deal on every day of the week.

Everyone will find this useful. Whether you're looking for a happy hour special after work, a late night deal at a club, or a place to take the family for Sunday brunch, all the discounts are piled into one place.

Sacmix says it's your "restaurant and bar resource for Sacramento." Sure, it would be easy to post all the specials at the chain restaurants. Well, Sacmix has that, but it also keeps track of all the cool, locally-owned joints that maybe you've been meaning to check out.

To get started, you just click the day of the week you're going out. You'll then find an alphabetical list of restaurants with the details of their specials. The newest finds are on top. Click on any one and you'll see a map of the location and a link to its website.

Sacmix is always adding new information. Sign up to its e-mail list and you'll get the best deals and special offers delivered right to your inbox.

To get a better look at Sacmix, head to CBS13.com and click on Save with Dave. We'll be seeing a lot more of that website. When there's a new or remarkable deal, we'll deliver another "sac mix fix" right here.

Let's say you go out for drinks once a week. If Sacmix helps you save $5 per trip, you'd save $260 a year.
