It's not too late to get up to the Sierra for some fun in the snow. Beginners, no need to be intimidated; next week is 'Learn to Ride or Ski Week' at Sierra at Tahoe. And to get people on the mountain, the resort is offering a sweet deal.

Beginners listen up because this is a deal! Head up to Sierra-at-Tahoe between March 8th and the 13th, and you'll get ski or snowboard rental, a two and half hour lesson and a ticket for all the beginner lifts all for $25!

The deal is for people 13-years-old and older, and you have to book online.

"A lot of people think of winter as this cold experience where you have to stay inside and skiing and snowboarding give you a way to really get outside, enjoy wintertime, and enjoy the California Sierra."

And don't think it's too late in the season to get started.

"We've got over 125 inches of snow in February this year, so much is going to be an awesome time to learn how to ski or snowboard."

This learn to ski or ride package usually runs around $85! So, if you go next week you will save $60!
