"Bestparking.com" its name says it all. The website is a free search engine that helps you find the cheapest and most convenient parking facilities at major airports and seven big cities, including San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Here's how it works say you're headed to the Bay Area for a day trip or you're flying out of an airport there. Just select "San Francisco" or your airport, enter the date and duration you'll be parking there, and up pops a map with all the parking facilities and their prices.
The website is great for vacations too; it has a mobile version so you can search for cheap parking on your smart phone.
Imagine how confusing it would be driving around Time Square in New York, looking for the cheapest garage. Map it out on bestparking.com and all your options pop right up. It ranges from $15 to $60. It's all pretty easy to figure out which is the best choice.
The prices listed are updated quarterly, but bestparking.com has a relationship with some garages and rates at those ones are guaranteed.
