  CBS13 is proud of its aggressive website team. They regularly update with breaking local and national news. The website combines content from CW31, the local morning news leader and CBS13, which is gaining strength as the primetime news leader. Those interested in interning with the web team should have excellent writing skills.

This experience will teach students the importance of accuracy and what is newsworthy. It will also allow them to learn how to use HTML and how to use graphics programs such as Adobe Photo. Interns will learn how to gather information and write stories for the website re-write and format on-air stories and write stories and post them on the website. Also, how to post newscast video and other interesting news video and footage on the website.

They will also see how to assist in producing web-only newscasts and how to crop, resize and optimize graphics and photos for the website. They will also learn how to post links and format text as needed on the website. This is an ideal position for a self-acclaimed news junkie who pays close attention to detail and enjoys writing.
