BART Strike Survival Guide
(CBS)
If you commute by BART and are unable use another public transit
service, consider asking your employer if you can work alternate hours
to avoid driving during peak commute times. Consider working from home
if you can, telecommuting for part or all of your regularly scheduled
work hours.
To set up a carpool and find Park & Ride lots, check with
511.org carpooling.
If it's possible for you to commute by bicycle, get started with
Bay Area Bicycle Coalition, with links to local clubs and help on everything from route and equipment information to safety practices.
