  MUD PIE from Brookfields


Crust:

8 ounces oreo cookies

1/8 pound butter (half stick)

Put in food processor


Grease a 8 inch pie tin with butter and press crust evenly into the bottom and sides

Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.


Pie:

Use ½ gallon of Dreyer's Java Mash Up Ice Cream (if not available, Jamoca Almond Fudge)

Press down to get any air out and mound toward the center

Drizzle with your favorite chocolate sauce or hot fudge

Place in freezer for at least 2 hours before serving
