Dry Rubs, Marinades and Butters

Just in time for the Labor Day Weekend BBQ, Raley's has shared some delicious recipes for Rubs, Marinades and Butters.

RUBS

Citrus Rub for Chicken and Pork:
1 tbsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. each: McCormick Orange Peel, McCormick Lemon Peel, Lemon Pepper

Ginger Orange Rub for Chicken and Pork:
2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. McCormick Orange Peel
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. pepper

Drizzle meat with orange juice after cooking.

Hickory Rub for Beef and Pork:
2 tsp. Hickory Smoked Salt
1/2 tsp. each: garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, sugar

Combine all seasonings in a small bowl. Sprinkle liberally over meat and rub into the surface. Each rub will coat 4 servings of meat.

MARINADES

Tomato Soy Marinade for Beef:
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar

Whisk together all ingredients.

BUTTERS

Dijon Herb Butter:
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp. chopped fresh herbs
1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
1/2 tsp. sea salt
