Garlic Burger From Brickhouse Restaurant

Garlic lovers rejoice!!  Check out this Garlic Burger recipe from Brickhouse Restaurant.

DIRECTIONS:

3/4 pound ground chuck
5-6 each garlic cloves
2-3 white mushrooms (quartered)
1 TBSP Pesto sauce
2 slices Provolone cheese
1 French roll, buttered and toasted
1 TBSP mayonaisse
1 TBSP garlic sauce

DIRECTIONS

Saute garlic and mushrooms on low heat until browned and soft.

  1. Form ground chunk into 2-6 oz oval patties.
  2. On one patty, spread pesto and press in sauteed garlic and mushrooms.
  3. Leave a ½ inch open rim around the edge of the patty.
  4. Place the second patty on top of stuffing and press the 2 patty edges together.
  5. Salt/pepper and pan fry on medium heat for 8 minutes on both sides.
  6. Place Provalone cheese during the last minute of cooking until melted.
  7. Butter and toast the french roll.
  8. Place mayonaisse on one bun and garlic sauce on the other.
  9. Place burger on bun and cut in half.
