The Colonel Burger
THE COLONEL BURGER
from The Corner Restaurant & Bar
INGREDIENTS:
1 4oz Beef Patty
2 ¾ cup Buttermilk
3 ¾ cup Flour
4 Salt and Pepper
5 BBQ Sauce
6 2 Slices of Tomato
7 1 Slice Red Onion
8 1 Potato Burger Bun
9 1oz Chipotle Mayonnaise
Method:
Freeze the burger patty. Remove from freezer and dredge patty in seasoned flour then coat with buttermilk. Dredge once more in flour. Re-Freeze.
Place enough oil in a skillet to submerge patty. Heat oil to 350 degrees.
Cook until golden brown (about 2 minutes).
Toast bun, spread chipotle mayonnaise on top and bottom of bun. Add lettuce, tomato, onion and The Colonel patty.
