JR's Texas Bar-B-Que Recipes
#1 Brisket
14 lb raw Brisket
1 cup of Jr's Smoken Rub (Spices)
Mesquite Wood
Rub Jr's Smoken Rub to coat the brisket, place brisket into smoker using mesquite wood to heat at a variable 200-250 degrees for 14-18 hours or until tender.
#2 Cowboy Beans
1 pkg (16 oz) of Pinto Beans
1/4 cup of Jr's Smoken Rub (Spices)
6 cups of Water
Salt to taste
Mix Pinto Beans and Water in large cooking pot, Boil gently until desired tenderness is reached (usually 1 to 2 hours), just at the last half hour add in Jr's Smoken Rub.
#3 Chicken Breasts
1 cup of Corn meal
¼ cup of Jr's Smoken Rub (Spices)
4-6 raw chicken breasts
Preheat grill to 350 Mix the cornmeal and Jr's Smoken Rub into a large mixing bowl. Coat the chicken breasts until covered. Place the chicken breasts onto the grill for 1 to 1 ½ hours or until tender.
#4 Corn on the Cob
¼ tlbs. Butter
¼ tbls Jr's Smoken Rub (Spices)
Preheat grill to 350, Coat the Corn with butter and Jr's Smoken Rub, wrap each corn into foil and place on grill for 1 hour, turning over every fifteen minutes.
