Directions For 10" Sugar Crust (makes 2-10" cookies):

3 cups flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup soft butter
1 egg slightly beaten
3 tbsp cream
1 tsp vanilla (can substitute almond extract)

Directions:

Sift dry ingredients, cut in butter and add other ingredients. Blend thoroughly; chill for several hours.
Divide the dough in half—pat flat. Using a rolling pin, roll out dough on floured board (best to use a 2/1
ration of flour/sugar) or between wax paper (it helps if you flour both sides of the dough). Roll dough out
round and to about 1/2 inch thickness. Place your "pizza crust" on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 5-8
minutes at 400 F (you want to undercook just slightly for easy cutting). Remove cookie/pizza from the oven
as you see it turning color slightly at the base, let cool completely.


Directions For Cream Cheese "Pizza Sauce":

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
dash vanilla
2 cups fresh strawberries sliced, leave one whole for center garnish

Directions:

Combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Using a mixer, blend until consistency
is smooth. Spread evenly onto cooled sugar cookie/pizza crust. Arrange strawberries on top of cream cheese
mixture and add desired toppings, or cut pizza into eights and add toppings to individual pieces.

  • sliced almonds
  • chocolate syrup
  • confectioners sugar
  • chocolate chunks
  • brown sugar
  • whipped cream, drizzle soft or dollop hard
  • reduced balsamic vinegar
  • white chocolate chips
  • fudge, dollops
  • crumbled blue cheese
  • macadamia nuts
  • marshmallows
  • any type of fresh fruit
