SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―

The lawmakers in Denver are Senators Dean Flores and Alex Padilla,
Assembly members John Laird and Mike Davis, and Assistant Assembly Speaker Pro-Tem Lori Saldana.
But Assembly Speaker Karen Bass siad the lawmakers absense should not affect the budget process because the negotiations are still between the so- called "Big 5".
If a budget is proposed. Speaker Bass says Democrats would come back and vote on it.
