Dog Rescued After Getting Head Stuck In Pipe
BOULDER (AP) ―
A dog in Boulder, Colorado is expected to make a full recovery after getting her head stuck in an iron pipe.
Boulder County deputies and animal control officers responded to the scene after the dog's owner called.
They found "Marina" with her head stuck in the end of an eight-foot iron pipe.
At first, rescuers tried to use vegetable oil to slide the scared dog out of the pipe.
But when that didn't work, they moved on to Plan B and cut the pipe down to a smaller size. They then transported "Marina", with her head still stuck, to a veterinarian's office.
The vet monitored "Marina" while firefighters cut off the pipe.
It took a total of seven hours to get "Marina" un-stuck.
