Philadelphia Police are searching for the person responsible for duct taping a cat from its head to its paws and dumping the feline in a yard.
Officers from the Pennsylvania SPCA's Humane Law Enforcement team rescued the cat Tuesday.
According to investigators, the female cat was duct taped from head to toe and was left abandoned in the yard. The animal was so tightly wrapped in duct tape that she could not walk.
Medical staff at the Pennsylvania SPCA were able to successfully remove the duct tape and the cat, nicknamed by staff as "Sticky," is reportedly doing well.
The Pennsylvania SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to a conviction of the person or persons responsible.
"I've been doing this for a lot of years and I have to say that this is the worst case
I've seen animal's feet duct-taped and their mouths duct-taped, but never a body suit like this," George Bengal of the PSPCA said.
