Baby Seal Found Wandering The Streets Of Tracy

TRACY (CBS13) ― It may not be a fish out of water, but it's close.  A baby seal is recovering after being found wandering the streets of Tracy.

The five-month-old Northern fur seal waddled upwards of a mile from the water and ended up at the front steps of the city's animal shelter.

Animal control officers quickly corralled the feisty pup but it wasn't easy.

The pup is now at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito.

Doctors say he is severely malnourished.  But they are encouraged because he's already swimming and eating.
