Do My Old Stock Certificates Have Value?

QUESTION: I discovered some really old stock certificates. How do I find out if they're worth anything?

ANSWER: I would suggest calling a discount brokerage firm, and for a fee, they would be able to research your shares and determine if the shares have any value.  If you have a brokerage account, you can deposit the shares into that account which will reflect whether the shares have any value.
