Paying Off Credit Card Affect My Credit Rating?

QUESTION: In regards one's credit score, my question is we pay all our monthly bills including PG&E, SMUD, phone, etc. with our credit card. The purpose is to consolidate and only write one check each month.  We do pay off that credit card every month. Does this affect one's credit score?

ANSWER: This should not affect your credit score unless you are using more than 1/3 of your available credit line for that card.
