Mom's World: Mad Science

ROSEVILLE (CBS13/CW31) ―     How do you catch the attention of a child?  How about bubbling, colorful potions, rocket launches and cotton candy making.  These are just a few of the experiments your son/daughter can try with their friends at a "Mad Science" birthday party.

We went to a home in Roseville and I was amazed at how wide-eyed and curious these children were with science experiments, not to mention the parents.   We had Dr. Neptune leading the party and he was animated and got the children involved.   He set numerous potions on fire, wired electricity through a pickle and created a dry ice spectacular finish. The kids were then treated to flying hover craft outside and tasty cotton candy they got to make themselves.

As the children were leaving, not only did they walk away with sticky fingers, they actually learned something about how the world works.
