Mom's World: Back In P.E. Class

I was out of breath on this story. I forgot how many jumping jacks and push ups I did as a child during P.E. class and how out of shape I am as an adult. The 5th grade students at Oakwood Elementary in Stockton are all about fitness. With the kids as a backdrop, I was able to talk about the importance of fighting obesity. A Stockton father, Tony Washington, joined me on the playground and and talked about his personal effort to help children battle the bulge. He has started an organization called,
"A Healthier Me". He has made a DVD for kids to get them motivated to work out and eat better. Tony says he has always battled a weight problem and he wants to help children stay healthy
