Man Pleads Not Guilty To Winters Murder
WINTERS, Calif. (AP) ―
A Yolo County man pleaded not guilty to killing his wife after being charged with the first murder in Winters in more than a decade.
Felipe Hernandez is being held without bail in the Yolo County jail after being charged with the murder of his wife, Leticia Barrales Ramos. She was last seen last seen April 12 at a family gathering.
Authorities say she is presumed dead, though her body has not been found.
The last slaying in Winters was a domestic murder-suicide in 1997.
