WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Some West Sacramento residents are drying out their homes this morning after a weekend acccident caused them to flood.
A large truck slammed into a fire hydrant yesterday sending hundreds of gallons of water gushing out over the roadway and into several homes.
West Sacramento firefighters waded through the knee deep water to get to the hydrant and shut it off.
Unfortunately, several nearby homes were flooded.
Firefighters brought in special equipment to help remove the water.
