Water Pipe Break Floods Sac Apartment Complex
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Residents of a South Sacramento apartment complex woke up to some serious flooding after a water pipe broke overnight.
The flooding happened at a complex in the 7400 block of Stockton Boulevard. Residents woke to find three feet of water in the parking lot. Several owners tried to drive their vehicles out of the parking lot only to have them stall. Dozens of cars are damaged.
Crews were able to shut the water off quickly but had a difficult time draining the parking lot.
