Water Line Break Floods North Highland Area

NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS/AP) ― Utility crews are digging in a North Highlands backyard trying to repair a broken water line that sent water rushing into the street and part of the home.

Homeowners on Bainbridge Drive woke up around 3:30 this morning to the break.  The broken water line is between two homes.  Water rushed into the street and seeped into a storage area of one home. 

The water has since been shut off.  City water officials aren't sure what caused the problem.
