Children Allegedly Abducted By Father During Visit

More Local News
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Authorities are searching for two children who were allegedly taken by their father during a court-allowed visit in Sacramento on Wednesday.

The kids were with their father, Daniel Gwilliam, 25, at a court-allowed, visit at a facility in Sacramento, when Gwilliam walked out of the building with them, say witnesses.

Investigators don't think that Gwilliam intends to harm his children. The children became wards of the court in February.

Gwilliam is described as a white male, 6' tall, weighing 170 lbs. He has short, brown hair, hazel eyes, and a pierced eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with white printing on it, and dark jeans.

Description of the children
Tyler, 6, is described as a white male, 3'8" tall, and weighs 49 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a red hooded jacket with stripes on the sleeves, a tan t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes with blue soles.

Lilly-Ann, 20 months, is 32" tall, and weighs 26 lbs. She has curly blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a lavender hair bow, a pink and green windbreaker jacket, a light pink "onesie", dark blue pants, and white tennis shoes with pink on the soles.

Gwilliam could be driving either a light blue Ford Explorer with Florida license plates, a dark blue 80's van, or a tan '86 Chevrolet van, say authorities.

The children are considered by authorities as at risk missing children.

Gwilliam faces a charge of parental abduction.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Gwilliam and his children is urged to call the Sacramento County Sheriff's Dept. at 916-874-5115.
