The cause of a two-alarm fire that destroyed parts of a historic Sacramento building is still unknown.

Flames broke out yesterday in downtown Sacramento. Fire and smoke could be seen for miles, shooting out the attic of the 120-year-old Victorian.

One person was inside the building at the time but escaped unharmed.
