Four Shot, Including Toddler, In Drive-By Shooting
VALLEJO (CBS) ―
Four people have been injured in a Vallejo drive-by shooting, including a two-year-old toddler that is now fighting for his life.
The shooting took place on the 1500 block of Lorenzo Street on Wednesday afternoon, when a man on a "ninja-style" motorcycle drove up to a house and fired into a group of men, according to Vallejo Police Lt. Eric Mortenson.
Four people were wounded, including the two-year-old toddler. The boy was airlifted to Oakland Children's Hospital for treatment.
The toddler's condition is said to be poor.
The motorcyclist is described as an African-American male wearing a dark leather jacket who used a .44-caliber handgun. Police are still investigating and interviewing witnesses.
