Security has been increased at a nursing home for US veterans in San Francisco after a worker at risk of losing his job allegedly threatened to buy a machine gun and kill everyone in the facility.
Felicisimo Belleza is charged with threatening an officer of the United States for allegedly making the statement to an employee benefit counselors at the VA hospital in Palo Alto on July 31st.
A special agent with the VA's inspector general's office wrote in a federal court affidavit that Belleza was spotted later that day dressed in desert fatigues at the VA nursing home in San Francisco.
The affidavit says Belleza earlier had threatened to harm other nursing employees after he was given a letter stating he would be fired for sexual harassment and abusive behavior toward staff members.
