Smoky Air Makes Even Indoor Exercise Dangerous

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) ― The unhealthy smoke is prompting new warnings from health experts.  They say it's now not even safe to exercise inside.

Some of the worst areas for breathing right now are Folsom, Roseville, and Yuba City where the air quality index is almost off the charts.

Experts say in those areas, the smoke can seep inside.

That means indoor, air conditioned exercise could be dangerous.

And with almost three weeks of this kind of air, the cumulative impact could start making people feel symptoms quicker outside.

Experts warn taking children to the park for even half an hour is not good for developing lungs.
