Suspicious Package At Turlock Daycare Detonated
TURLOCK (CBS13) ―
A suspicious package placed outside of a Turlock preschool has been detonated by the Stanislaus County bomb squad.
The Turlock Police Department evacuated the TLC All-Day Preschool on the 1600 block of Colorado Avenue earlier after getting a bomb threat.
Police say an unknown caller telephoned the daycare/preschool and said there was a bomb on the premises. Police later found the suspicious package.
The bomb squad was called in and later detonated the package. Police have not said what was inside.
All of children at the daycare were evacuated and their parents were notified.
