"We're trying to check all the places he likes to fly in the area. This has been an uncommon thing for him to take off for a 30-minute flight."
The family says Clay's R-V-6 experimental plane just had its annual inspection, and it was in good condition," Sgt. Jeff Pettit, Nevada County Sheriff's Office.

The family says the RV6 experimental plane just had its annual inspection, and it was in good condition. It is described as white with blue and red stripes. Beck was supposed to return in time to drive to Reno for a meeting yesterday afternoon.
