Train Hits Parked Car In Downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― A car parked too close to rail road tracks is to blame for a train accident overnight in Sacramento.

It was around 2:00 this morning when a Union Pacific train clipped a car parked near 21st Street and 4th Avenue.

The crash was heard blocks away.  The train stopped after the conductor heard the boom which sent the impact sent the car flying.
 
Emergency crews say they didn't find anyone inside the car when they got there.
