A woman dressed in East Indian garb allegedly robbed a Tracy bank Tuesday, according to authorities, and this may not be the first time she has robbed the same bank.
The suspect, a woman between 30 and 50 years old, was dressed in a red scarf and red dress when she handed a note to a teller that demanded money at the Community Banks of Northern California.
She left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Tracy Police Department.
Authorities say the case is similar to a robbery that took place at the same bank on March 24. A woman dressed in a dark scarf, sunglasses and a dark dress used a demand note to escape with a large amount of cash in that incident.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Detective Ryan Knight at (209) 831-6597 or Tracy Crime Stoppers At (209) 831-4847.
