Homeless groups are pushing for a tent city in Sacramento and will march today in an attempt to get city leaders to listen.

The Sacramento Homeless Organizing Committee is sponsoring a march that will begin at loaves and fishes and end at Caesar Chavez Park.

The group says establishing a tent city or a series of tent cities would be beneficial to the homeless and help do away with illegal campgrounds.

The march begins at 1 p.m.
